Salary: $25.80 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
Tasks
o Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products
o Transport items throughout plant using powered equipment
o Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually
o Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions
o Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers
o Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
o Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
o Clean machines and immediate work areas
o Load and unload vehicle
o Polish metal products to mirror finish
o Read and interpret work orders
Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience: Deburrer /Dolly /Hand truck /Lifting device /Shotblaster / Wheelabrator
Area of specialization: Welding
