Abhay Enterprises Ltd dba Petro Canada is hiring Store Manager for Full -Time and permanent position. Duties:
- Plan and organize the operations of retail store including floor plan, product rotation and availability
- Oversee the daily activities and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure the gas station is adequately stocked.
- Assisting subordinates and new Staff in accessing the information for merchandise and point of sales software.
- Develop and implement marketing policy. Plan budget to run the store efficiently.
- Determine the merchandise to be sold and implement pricing.
- Determine and negotiate with service providers such as landscape, cleaning, sanitation and other optional services
- Purchase and manage merchandise for resale as per requirement. Advise the management for best negotiations.
- Hiring and train new staff according to job requirements.
- Resolve the complaints of customers also review them why the complaints happened.
- Manage cash, card, credit/debit and in store card transactions.
- Ensure store meets the standards and participate in inspections
- Monitor financial performance and ensure that all financial and operational goals are met.
- Make daily bank deposits and manage suspense accounts in timely manner.
- Review reports
Requirements:
Minimum education required is completion of secondary school.
Minimum experience of 1 year or more in retail sales is required.
Terms:
Salary: $ 41.00/hour.
Hours of Work: minimum work of 30 hours to 40 hours per week will be given along with two days off per week will be provided.
Overtime will be paid if any.
