Stone Products Machine Operator

Job Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Tasks:
Construct clay models and moulds for use in casting concrete products;
Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions;
Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish;
Perform ongoing machine adjustments;
Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications;
Cut cured concrete pipe sections with saw or chisel and cement sections together to form odd-shaped fittings;
Cutting, polishing and mitring and installing extra large format thin slab material;
Custom sizing and polishing stone, concrete, marble, porcelain to meet specific design requirements.
