Padmanadi is an Edmonton based franchise specializing in Authentic Asian Food. We are looking for two (2) Restaurant Managers who can start immediately.
Wage:
$36.00 per hour for 30 – 44 hours per week

2 – 3 years experience in a food-related industry with some at supervisory level
Job Duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of Padmanadi to ensure consistent food quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures related to front-of-house service, kitchen coordination, cash handling, and closing/opening protocols.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and support personnel, ensuring adherence to performance and service standards.
- Prepare staff schedules, assign duties, and oversee daily work activities to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
- Order food, beverages, and supplies from approved vendors, manage inventory levels, and minimize waste and shortages.
- Assume full responsibility for the operational and financial performance of the restaurant, including sales targets, cost control, and profitability.
- Plan and execute marketing and promotional initiatives, including special menus, discounts, and events, to drive customer traffic and repeat business.
- Address and resolve customer and staff concerns promptly and professionally to maintain a positive dining environment.
- Ensure full compliance with Alberta Health Services requirements, food safety standards, and food handling permit conditions at all times.
- Coordinate and oversee catering services and special orders for private functions and community events.
- Analyze sales trends, labour costs, and food costs, and implement corrective measures to improve operational efficiency and margins.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, including sales summaries, staff attendance, inventory usage, and cash reconciliation.
- When operationally required, step in to perform frontline duties—such as serving, food preparation assistance, cashiering, or cleaning—during staff shortages or unexpected absences to ensure uninterrupted service.
