Bright Transport Ltd. is looking for 15 Long Haul Truck Drivers. This position will be full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week. Our company is located at 12688 69 Avenue Surrey BC V3W 1K6
The Job duties for this position will be:
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Load and unload goods
- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Job Requirements:
- Class 1 Driving License with Air Brakes
- Basic English is required
- Completion of high school will be an asset
What we offer:
- $37.00 per hour
- 4% vacation pay
