Pagnotta Inc. is looking for 1 HSE (Health, safety and environment) coordinator. This position will be full time with 8 hours a day and 35-40 hours per week. Our office is located at Suite 1500, 701 West Georgia Street Vancouver, BC
The Job Duties for this position will be:
- Conduct workplace audits and investigations of safety concerns, incidents and accidents
- Conduct workplace inspections to ensure that equipment, materials and production processes do not present a safety or health hazard to employees
- Develop and implement health and safety programs, including standard operating procedures, policies and training to mitigate risk, optimize worker’s health and safety
- Foster a positive occupational health and safety culture
- Ensure procedures on workplaces do not contravene organization and government health and safety standards and regulations
- Provide training to employers and employees on issues of workplace safety
- Communicate, engage and influence decision-makers and workers to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations
Job Requirements:
- English is required as a language
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the mid to large scale commercial construction projects is required
- A bachelor’s degree in the similar field is required
