Job duties:
- Clear, clean, and reset tables, trays, and seating areas.
- Portion and wrap food items according to standards.
- Handle and store cleaning agents safely and appropriately.
- Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in proper storage areas such as refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards.
- Transport clean dishes, cutlery, and other items to service areas and set tables appropriately.
- Clean and sanitize equipment such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, and utensils.
- Store cleaned dishes and utensils in designated areas.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items manually when required.
- Maintain records of food usage and quantities.
- Prepare and package take-out orders.
- Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple menu items.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet stations.
- Replenish refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
- Take and process customer orders accurately.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage in accordance with procedures.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables for food preparation
