Sunstar Concrete Ltd is looking for two (2) Concrete Finishers who can start immediately. Applicants must be willing to work in various locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Wage Offered:
$36.00 per hour for 30 – 44 hours per week

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Languages:
Modest user of oral and written English language
Education:
Secondary school certificate
Experience:
3 – 5 years in related field
Additional Skills:
Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages; Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications; Estimate costs and materials

Industrial; Commercial
Job Duties:
Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces; Repair, resurface worn or damaged sections of concrete structures; Operate power vibrators to compact concrete; Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification; Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures; Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement; Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces; Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade; Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
