We need one (1) Cook who can start immediately. Preference will be given to cooks who have experience in Canadian cuisine, but it is not a job requirement. Training will be provided to cooks who want to learn. We are in Drayton Valley, Alberta, Canada
Wages:
$18.00 per hour for 30 to 44 hours per week

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook donairs, shawarma, wraps, platters, burgers, fries, salads, and other menu items according to restaurant recipes and quality standards.
• Marinate, season, slice, and cook meats using donair grills, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Prepare sauces, vegetables, rice, sides, and other ingredients required for daily service.
• Plan daily food preparation, determine portion sizes, and estimate food requirements and costs.
• Monitor stock levels and order meat, produce, sauces, packaging, and other kitchen supplies.
• Inspect the kitchen, food-preparation, storage, and service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with food-safety standards.
• Train kitchen staff and helpers in food preparation, cooking methods, portion control, safe food handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers and coordinate food preparation during busy service periods.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, food-preparation surfaces, and work areas.
• Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure timely service, consistent food quality, and minimal food waste.
