Vatika Aqua Cuisine Restaurant and Sweets specialize in Indian and Italian fusion. We need one (1) Cook who can start as soon as possible. Preference will be given to cooks who have experience in Indian and Italian, but this is not a job requirement. Training will be provided to cooks who want to learn Indian and Italian cooking,
Wage: $17.00 per hour for 30 to 44 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full-Time

Languages: English
Education and work experience:
Formal education is not a job requirement but must have 2 – 3 years experience in commercial cooking.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook Indian and Italian cuisine for buffet and individual dishes.
- Prepare and cook special meals for patrons as required (e.g. spicy, mild, nut free, etc).
- Maintain inventory and records of food (perishable and non-perishable), supplies and equipment!
- Oversee kitchen operations.
- Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
- Specialize in preparing and cooking ethnic cuisine or special dishes.
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
