We are looking for a child caregiver for my two grandchildren, both minors in Vancouver BC. This will be a full-time position, permanent with 8 hours a day shift and 40 hours per week.
You will be performing the job duties mentioned below.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Supervise and care for children
- Take children to and from school and to appointments Tend to emotional well-being of children
Requirement of the Job Position:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Completion of a training program in childcare or some household management experience would be an asset.
- Basic English is required.
We are offering:
- $20 per hour
- Optional accommodation available at no charge.
- Does not have to be a live-in child caregiver. Live in is not a condition of employment
- 4% vacation pay
