Tasks
Read and interpret blueprints and complete required fitting-related duties. Weld or bolt sections together, Install fabricated components in final products. Study engineering drawings and blueprints, determine the materials required, and plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently. Ability to complete and document visual QC self-inspection of work according to required quality standard and customer specification. Grind, stamp, cut, and drill metal. Operate various required equipment, including overhead cranes, grinders, welding machines, measuring and testing equipment, cutting torch.
