We need one (1) Retail Store Manager who can start immediately. We are in Edmonton, Alberta.
Wage:
$45.00 per hour for 30 to 44 hours per week

Experience:
2 – 3 years in the retail service industry with some at the supervisory level
Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate daily liquor store operations, including sales, staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
• Manage stock levels and replenishment using first-in, first-out rotation and timely ordering to meet customer demand, reduce excess inventory, and minimize product losses.
• Develop and implement merchandising strategies, product displays, and promotional activities to improve product visibility and increase sales.
• Implement and enforce store health, safety, security, and environmental policies to maintain a safe workplace and protect employees, customers, and merchandise.
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual store inspections, maintain accurate records, and address deficiencies to uphold operational standards.
• Develop and monitor store budgets, control operating expenses, and review sales performance to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding product selection, availability, orders, and deliveries to align inventory with customer preferences and seasonal demand.
• Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market trends, and recommend adjustments to pricing and product offerings to maintain competitiveness.
• Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations and coordinate marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase store sales.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, coordinate with corporate customer service when necessary, and implement improvements to strengthen customer satisfaction and retention.
