Job duties:-
- Check and maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and service areas
- Teach staff proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe handling practices
- Cook full meals or specific dishes as required
- Adapt and prepare meals to meet customers’ dietary restrictions or allergies
- Purchase necessary ingredients, supplies, and kitchen equipment
- Design menus and forecast the ingredients needed
- Decide appropriate portion sizes and calculate food costs
- Ensure the kitchen and workspaces are kept clean and sanitary
- Keep track of inventory, supplies, and equipment records
