Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Job duties:-
- Review daily operations.
- Engage in the development and execution of marketing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
- Plan and manage events.
- Analyze finances to enhance and sustain the profitability of the restaurant.
- Create a budget to assess the costs of food, ingredients, beverages, kitchen equipment, and cleaning products.
- Adjust food preparation techniques and menu pricing based on the restaurant’s budget.
- Track employee performance.
- Oversee staff members.
- Identify services to be provided and establish operational procedures.
- Reconcile cash and finalize balance sheets, cash reports, and related documents.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations.
- Verify adherence to health and safety standards.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers for food and other essentials.
- Discuss arrangements with clients for catering services or facility rentals.
- Address the customer complaints or issues.
