Shan Construction Services Ltd is looking for four (4) Drywall Installers who can start immediately. Applicant must be willing to work in various locations in Edmonton and the surrounding areas.
Wage:
$36.00 per hour for 30 to 44 hours per week
Terms of Employment:
Permanent; Full-Time

Minimum of three years

Hand-eye coordination; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Manual dexterity; Standing for extended periods.

Job Duties:
Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets; Tape over joints using taping machine and embed taped in compound; Apply successive coats of compound and sand items and joints; Position and secure sheets to metal or wooded studs or joists; Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners; Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife; Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry; Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
