Sunstar Commercial Services Ltd is looking for one (1) Truck Driver who can start immediately. Applicants must be willing to work in various locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Wage:
$36.00 per hour for 30 to 60 hours per week
In accordance with all Provincial and Federal standards, overtime will be paid after 10 hours per day / 50 hours per week when the truck is operated within Alberta.
Overtime will be paid after 10 hours per day / 60 hours per week when the truck crosses interprovincial boundaries

Job Duties:
- Transporting specialized concrete finishing machinery, including power trowels, screeds, industrial vacuums, and plate tampers to and from job sites.
- Hauling essential site-prep materials such as lumber for forms, rebar, wire mesh, vapor barriers, and bags of curing compounds or sealers.
- Overseeing the safe loading and unloading of heavy finishing equipment. This includes using chains, straps, and binders to ensure machinery does not shift during transport.
- Maintaining effective communication with finishing supervisors and dispatchers to ensure equipment arrives before the concrete pour begins.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in peak working condition.
- Maintaining accurate logs of driving hours and mileage in accordance with provincial standards

Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Credentials:
Class 3/3F/DF License (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
