Ultra Mechanical Ltd at 13420 68 Avenue Surrey, BC is hiring a Plumber for full-time and permanent position. Work will be at various locations across lower mainland.
Duties:
- To read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications,
- Determine layout of systems and networks,
- Install repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems,
- Locate and mark position of pipe connection, holes and fixtures,
- Cut holes to accommodate pipes and fittings,
- Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes in place,
- Join pipes with couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, or cement, solder or braze piping,
- Inspect and test pipes for leaks,
- Determine piping systems requirements and pipe sizing,
- Select and install pumps, weld pipes,
- Install manholes and catch basins, repair, service and maintain plumbing systems or fixtures.
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate in English
- completion of high school is required
- Minimum experience of 1 year or more as plumber is required.
Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Wage: $31.00/hr
Location of Work: 13420 68 Avenue Surrey, BC and various locations across lower mainland
