Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals for clients with dietary restrictions or sensitivities. Evaluate the cleanliness of kitchens and food preparation areas.
- Educate staff on food preparation, cooking methods, and safe handling practices.
- Assess food portion sizes and their associated costs.
- Create menus and calculate the necessary food requirements for implementation.
- Cook and assemble full meals or specific individual dishes and items.
- Request supplies and equipment as needed.
- Maintain records and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Sanitize kitchen and workspaces.
