DS Chandesar Trucking Ltd is Service based Transportation Company in Western Canada. We need two (2) Truck Drivers who can start immediately.
Wage:
$29.00 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week
In accordance with al Provincial and Federal standards, overtime will be paid after 10 hours per day / 50 hours per week when the truck is operated within Alberta.
Overtime will be paid after 10 hours per day / 60 hours per week when the truck crosses interprovincial boundaries.

Communication Systems Experience:
Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment

Inspection report (pre-trip, post-trip); Driver logbook, Bill of lading; Accident or incident reports; Trip reports; Maintenance and repair reports
Job Duties:
Load and unload goods; Perform preventive maintenance; Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport good and materials, Perform brake adjustments; Pay and receive payment for goods; Perform emergency roadside repairs; Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption; Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle; Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; Receive and relay information to central dispatch; May be required to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy; Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.

Air Brake (Z) Endorsement; Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
