We are a family owned business that provides innovative solutions for your home and structural problems. We need one (1) Merchandiser who can start immediately. We are in Edmonton, Alberta.
Wage Offered:
$26.50 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Language:
English
Education:
Minimum college diploma in business, marketing or a related program
Experience:
Minimum 7 months of experience in retail or wholesale establishments performing some of the duties related to the occupation.
Specialization:
Buying, product selection, negotiation, pricing
Job Duties:
- Buy merchandise for resale ensuring products selected are in demand by customers and have a good profit margin
- Negotiate prices, discount, credit terms and transportation arrangement with suppliers
- Maintain adequate stock levels to meet the customer’s requirement
- Establish and maintain contact with suppliers
- Oversee the distribution of merchandise to wholesale and retail buyers
