Auto Imports is a family owned and operated in South Edmonton auto repair shop since 1956. We pride ourselves on providing prompt, professional automotive repair, and maintenance service, with accurate estimates for both price and repair time. We are looking for four (4) Automotive Service Technicians who can start immediately. This is a regulated occupation so only those applicants with required credentials to work in the Automotive Service Technician trade in Alberta will be considered.
Wage:
$35.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week

Mechanical Repairer Duties:
Test and adjust units to specifications; Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions; Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit; Repair or replace mechanical units or components
Automotive Service Technician Skills:
Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements; Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems; Perform scheduled maintenance service; Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications; Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor; Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
Credentials:
Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
Experience:
3 – 5 years
